Oasis in Newburgh, 3rd year in a row -- end of a very long journey

I did my last book signing for the first edition of "Oasis" I on Wednesday, April 17. Hosted by Fr. Bill Damroth, Pastor, St. Teresa of Calcutta, Newburgh, New York, as always, it was a wonderful event.

It was the third such book signing hosted by Fr. Bill since 2017, always on Spy Wednesday, the first two years at St. Francis of Assisi, this year at Sacred Heart, both in Newburgh, combined to create St. Teresa of Calcutta.

Here's an excerpt from my remarks written within hours of the Notre Dame debacle:

"Two days ago, the world watched in horror as the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris went up in flames... Faith built the cathedral and as the physical structure is rebuilt, as it will, what is most important is that the faith of France and Europe be rebuilt at the same time... It's the journey I write about in 'Oasis'..."

Wednesday was the end of a very long journey.  Over 5000 books sold, over 500 since January.

Exhale!
